Create Keyboard Shortcuts In Windows Xp

You can automate any program in windows xp by creating its keyboard shortcuts.

For this you have to first create the shortcut of the program. After this right click on the icon and select properties and then navigate to shortcut and there is a option called sortcut key.

At shortcut key press the keyboard combo you want to assign to launch the program, it must include one standard character plus two or three of <ctrl> <shift> or <alt>. (Ctrl+Shit+R as in image above).

Note* It has be a shortcut of a program or file, you can't assign a keyboard shortcut to any file you want.

To make more robust shortcuts, try the freeware application called Keyboard Shortcuts.

With this software you can launch any file, perform system commands such as logging off and shutting down or open any url in browser with keyboard combinations.

One shortuct can even perform several of these actions, simulataneosly or in sequnece.
