What To Do When Folders Does Not Show Names In Thumbnail View

no names in thubnail view

What to do when your folders in windows XP do not display file names while view is set to thumbnails ?

Here is the solution:
1. Firstly change the folder view to detailed view.
2. Now, hold the shift key on your keyboard and while holding the shift key change the folder view back to the thumbnail view.
3. That's it, you will now see your folder names back in their original state.

I don't know this a feature or bug in windows XP, but its quite irritating.

Sometime back my friend has the same problem in his PC and I couldn't figure out what the problem is and my friend has to format his whole system.

OMG.. for this tiny thing, he think deadly virus has attacked his PC and he formatted his whole system

Anyways, anyone can fool their friends if they don't know this. Just hold shift key and change folder view mode to thumbnail and all the folder names will be gone.

Nice hack for fooling your friends.
